THE ROLLING STONES

We were asked by Mark Norton, who’s been designing for The Stones for decades, to create an opening sequence for their tour of the US. The identity for the tour he’d created was the starting point, with the main elements coming from the painterly interpretation of the stars and stripes. Once we had the music from Mick Jaggers longtime collaborator Matt Clifford, a take on the American national anthem, it was a case of layering up the stars and stripes to create the epic build that was needed. We also got to visit The Stones archive to find the images…which was a bonus.
