This was our 3rd series working on The Mighty Boosh. We were asked to do three animations. The style came from the last two series, combining painted and photographic elements. We storyboarded it from a script, got Noel to design some of the characters, and then created everything else from scratch. This animation appeared in the ‘Journey to the Centre of the Punk’. The story of Howling Jimmy a.k.a. The Spirit of Jazz.
