We made these two puppets for series 2 of ‘Luxury Comedy’. We had to find a balance between functionality and crudeness, as they were meant to be made by a mute internet sensation called Paul Panfer, who remakes Elvis films on his mobile phone. We considered using professional puppeteers, but in the end it was funnier when performed by the shows writer Noel Fielding, and fellow performer Tom Meeten.
